DUKE KARPOSH

The Macedonian rebel outlaw Karpos, (a historical character from the 17th century with massive village uprising from 1689), shook the Ottoman empire. The massive resistance against the big Turkish kingdom, was given by the Macedonian rebels under his leadership towards the end of the 17th century, was one of the more successful revolutionary events on the Balkan Peninsula and throughout the world.
The heroism about the Macedonian rebel lives and will, continue to live in the Macedonian people.
