VASIL ILOSKI

VASIL ILOSKI , born in 1902, is well-known Macedonian dramatist and academic. He began writing dramatical works between the two World wars. Several of his works were staged in skopje, despite the fact that the use of the Macedonian language was forbidden. The following plays were staged during that period: "After Graduation", "The Eloper", "The Rich man Teodos", and even the play "Unemployment Office" which was forbidden because its social motives. Since the liberation his plays have continued to appear on the Macedonian stage. His plays from this period include "Two against One", "Honor", "Kuzman Kapidan", and "Things in Common".
