KIRIL PEJCINOVIK

KIRIL PEJCINOVIK was born 1771 in the village of Tearce near Tetovo.
The Tombstone He lived and worked in few monastery's like Hilendar in Aegean Macedonia, and Markov Monastery near Skopje. He spent all his life in writing about the life and the things that happened in that time.
Few years before his death, he wrote an epitaph on his own tombstone, whit out knowing that this epitaph will be the first poem written in the Macedonian language. He died in 1845, but today the tomb of Kiril Pejcinovik is in the Lesok monastery yard. In the same monastery in one of the rooms can be found a museum of Kiril Pejcinovik.
