Macedonia has numerous ensembles of high quality which cherish folk songs and dance. The best known among them is "Tanec" dance ensemble, which has borne the epithet of ambassador of Macedonian folklore for more than forty years. This ensemble and the cultural and artistic groups "Orce Nikolov", "Mirce Acev", "Koco Racin", "Goce Delcev" and many others have given countless performances all over the globe.
