HRISTIJAN TODOROVSKI -KARPOS

Hristijan Todorovski - Karpos was born on 3 September 1921, in Kumanovo. As a student he was accepted in SKOJ in 1940 and because of his progressive ideas, he was expelled from secondary school and was not allowed to enrol in any other school in Yugoslavia. In the year of the 1941, he participated in the gathering of weapons, distribution of pamphlets and the bulletin "Dedo Ivan" (Grandfather Ivan), which was published by the City Partizan organisation. He also participated in the First Partizan detachment in Kumanovo, and became a Partizan on the 11 October 1941, than a member of the headquarters in the Kumanovo detached force further he went to the Second south Moravian (Juzno Moravski) detachment, and late in the Kukavian detachment, where he stayed until 1942, and then returned to the south Moravian detachment. In the second half of the year 1942, he was sent as a courier in Kumanovo, and he used his arrival to form a new detachment with whom he achieves successful actions.
